The U10 Girls traveled to the LaRosa Forest Park Invitational on Saturday, October 29th for a two day tournament. They defeated West Side Rangers 5 - 0 in the first game on Saturday morning and the Lakota United Falcons 5 - 1 in the second game, Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning, they defeated the GSE Cardinals Gold, 6 - 0. Winning all three qualifying matches placed the Lady Panthers in the finals.
On Sunday afternoon, the Lady Panthers played in the championship against Grove City Red, one of the teams that they played against in the MOSSL A Division. The girls won the match 3 - 0 and came away with the championship. The girls worked hard and played great soccer all weekend, according to coach James Field.
This was the last tournament of the fall season for the Lady Panthers. They finished the season strong, scoring nineteen goals and allowing only one goal in the four matches of the tournament. The team will begin indoor training this week, with Coach/Trainer James Field.
The team is coached by PASA Director of Soccer, James Field Head Coach), John Bittengle (Asst. Coach), and Mike Hanson (Asst. Coach).
